Must do coursework not craftwork (well for the next few hours at least!)
Dog walked - check, laptop - check, notes - check, most importantly a cup of tea and emergency chocolate - double check!

Sunny Liverpool
Hi sorry you haven't heard anything from me today, I've been enjoying one of the rare sunny days here in Liverpool and I intend to make every second count! I'm just about to go back out in the garden with my ever growing crochet project bag and enjoy the last few rays of sun before making tea.

4th of July
Happy 4th of July to everyone who celebrates it!
My mum is slightly obsessed with all things American, we must be the only people in England who have more Halloween decorations than Christmas. And yes I do realise Halloween isn't strictly an American festival but the first time we holidayed there and my mum found a shop dedicated to all this witchy, spooky and black, green and orange she found her calling...
Anyway enjoy the fireworks!

Roar!
A very happy Wednesday to all of my blog reading pals!
Thought I'd share with you a little lion face I made a while ago, not quite sure what to add little Leonard into yet, any ideas?
Him and a few of his pals were off a pattern for dummy (pacifier if your American) holders I bought last year from Etsy. However I decided to use some scraps of orange fluffy wool I had as mane, it definitely would help Leonard stand out among the other lion crochet faces :)

Feet up, it's been a busy day
Just waved bye bye to the little fella. My day has included hair being pulled (2 days since entering the terrible 2s and he starts that!) colouring in a cardboard box house, trying and failing to make funny shaped people sandwiches, being covered in yoghurt. (pause for deep breath...) pushing Pj plus bike up and down the road endlessly, counting cars that pass our road, kicking balls over the fence, building a tent, being covered in pasta sauce, taking down tent, being covered in ice cream and more! To say I'm exhausted is an understatement.
Anyway the shoes are off and the feet are up ready to continue with my granny stitch blanket. So far so good on the colours, but I am finding hard to decide on the next one from the many I have in stock, I'm thinking maybe orange.
Monday morning
Today wants to be nice, the sun is trying to shine through the grey clouds, I've been out with the pup in only a T-shirt and didn't freeze to death and I'm now enjoying a cup of tea and a cuddle with before mentioned pup. However nothing will change the fact it's Monday! (See below picture for rant about said day!). One thing that is sure to brighten up my day (and make me tired enough to wish it was the weekend again) is minding little mister Pj! I'm scheduled for babysitting duty twice this week then he's off on holiday for three whole weeks - I'm really going to miss him he's at the age were he's learning new things constantly. I will have to look on the bright side being an extra few free days to spend crafting whilst he's away... Anyway back to my original topic; for all those Monday dreaders, I feel your pain. For all those Monday lovers, ?!?!?#%*???!? I have no words. But I hope everyone ends up enjoying today as if it were a Saturday!
