96 remembered!

Im honestly not really a big football fan but I will still tell everyone that I'm a Liverpudlian and proud!

Today is an important day in my city's history as it marks the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster and though we are still awaiting justice everyone in Liverpool, regardless of what sports team they support will be united in remembering the 96 that lost their lives.

During my one of my many internet trawls to find new inspirations I came across this website: http://www.agusyornet.com it's a wonderful craft/photography blog run by a Spanish lady named Agus complete with both Spanish and English translations.  From shapes to make with paper clips, painting pasta and coloured glue dots it has some great ideas to try.  Below I've added a few photos of her works. :D

Happy Mothers Day!

I would just like to wish all of the mothers out there a happy Mother's Day, including my own fabulous one (featured in the below picture with me)!

 I surprised her this morning with 'The Knit Kit' from Love Knitting, it's known as the Swiss Army knife of the knitting world, I don't even knit and I want one.

Anyway I hope everyone has nice things planned for today. xXx

Here is a sneak peak of one of the products I'm currently working on for a new little cousin, due next month as cute as little CJ (as I've named him) is I've got a feeling the newest member of my family will be so much more lovely :)

Just saw this photo of Simon Cowells new baby Eric, beautiful baby but my eyes were instantly drawn to the crochet elephant wondering if I should try my hand at one, they've got to be in demand now the new 'IT Baby' has one? ;)

Also couldn't help but wonder; Do elephants have belly buttons??? Hmmm........
